Oakland Art Murmur

Today is the ...7th day of December blender.

And I'm showing my work at Oaklands Art Murmur. Currently I'm posting from the venue as its so busy here... Hahaha! I'm freezing! Ill be here tomorrow too, noon till 5pm hopefully ill see some familiar faces here tomorrow. Next time I'm bringing gloves and a scarf, since I can't feel my nose or fingers... And my toes are numb. Now it's time to pack up and eat some pizza! See ya tomorrow!

Goldfish The Snack That Smiles Back!

DECEMBER BLENDER! Day 6.... I think.....

Everyone should know these little guys. They're Goldfish!!! And as alarming as it may sound, I love eating goldfish! I grew up eating these all the time, and one day thought it would be perfect for your hair... Which I suppose isn't actually a very normal thought. However here they are in all their glory, and even with salt! Love them, but don't eat them... These are made out of clay!

Mmm... FORBIDDEN DONUT!

DECEMBER BLENDER! Day 5...

Been I thinking about making these for a while now... Mmm forbidden donut... If you watch the Simpsons you know exactly what I'm talking about. I'll be wearing these lovely bobby pins in my hair pronto. I think they came out well, what do you think? Who could resist the allure of a pink frosted donut with sprinkles!? No one! "I really don't like pink frosted donuts" said NO ONE EVER!

Oreos!

DECEMBER BLENDER! Day 4....

Today I made some LIFE SIZE OREOS! I matched the color of the clay I used against to a real Oreo to make sure it was as real as possible. I added a chain and hook, and now it's a keychain! I'll be wearing mine on my purse, I think it looks super real... Hope no one tries to eat it!

P.S. By the way, if anyone is in the area (Oakland,ca) I'll be doing Oakland Art Murmur with my brother, and you'll be able to buy all the things you see on here! Friday Dec. 7th, 6-10pm and Saturday Dec. 8th, 12-5pm. I'll be in THE UPTOWN, Telegraph will be closed so access is through Broadway. 25th may be easier to get in than 26th. The address is 401 26th and from 25th it is the black metal fence near the middle of the block (toward Berkeley side). Hope to see your smiling faces there. ^.^

Today I wanted to work on something itty bitty,and what's cuter than a penny sized sugary waffle? Making them into jewelry! ...Which, of course is the only next logical step. Nom!
